Staplex® Model TFRC-1 is portable air sampler designed for grab sampling and intermittent use in the assay of particulates and radio-iodine. A precision flowmeter shows instantaneous flow measurement on a calibration scale for 1-12 CFM or 60-340 LPM. The built-in flow adjuster allows for setting flowrate over the full operational range. Designed for use in normal, non-explosive atmospheres.

Motor brushes should be changed after every 800 hours of sampler usage.

Includes 1.75" x 11-1/2 TPI female threaded inlet. Particulates may be collected on 47-mm or 2 inch diameter paper by using Staplex® SPR series Filter Paper Holders; radioiodine can be sampled by using Staplex® SCR series Combination TEDA (Triethylene di-Amine) cartridge and Filter Paper Holders. Filter Holders are not included.

Staplex® offers a complete line of continuous-duty Low Flow Air Samplers for indoor, outdoor or underground sampling. These heavy-duty models are portable and are highly effective for accurate assay of particulates and radio-iodine and for drawing air samples through Noble Gas, Alpha, Beta and Gamma monitors. The constant air flow control valve maintains a constant flow ±5% of the operator pre-set flow rate (up to the maximum capacity of the air sampler). This feature permits assures accurate total air flow volume over the sampling duration, regardless of filter loading. Recommended for use with Staplex® TEDA (Triethylene di-Amine) Carbon Cartridges and filter papers. Designed for use in normal, non-explosive atmospheres. Made in U.S.A.
